Summer Adventures continued...

So I really am getting caught up now...my last post for our Europe trip was a bit long, but I'll be glad years from now I'm sure. On to the rest of the summer up to this point...okay maybe not all the way, but closer.
When we returned from Europe we were exhausted but it was great because we got back on a Thursday and ended up just relaxing, unpacking, and getting reaquainted with the pups that weekend. The next week was a full week back at work...very hard to get back in the mode, but it made it easier knowing we were heading out of town yet again for Memorial Day weekend. We had long debated whether or not we should make the trip up to Chicago for my friend Julie's wedding. With all the travels to Europe it was debatable. However, we ended up planning to go and we had a great time. My friend Nicole and her hubby also flew in for the wedding from Ohio. Overall the weather in Chicago can be tricky so we were happy when Saturday and Sunday turned out beautiful and only Monday was a bit drizzly/gloomy. We spent Saturday exploring with Nicole and her husband Scott and the wedding was that evening on the river at Fulton's. It was soooo much fun! Sunday we slept in and went around the city some more and ate at some great restaurants. On Monday we rented a tandem bicycle and went cycling along the lake front. We also stopped and checked out the Lincold Park Zoo. We headed back to Austin that evening.
