Since that weekend...Dustin and I began doing some of the P90X videos (if you don't know what P90X is...next time you are up late at night and catch an infomercial about getting a "beach body" and the guy continuously repeats the phrase "bring it"...that is the P90X system). It is actually really a great work out and I was incredibly sore for a few days there...it is amazing what muscles you don't use when you run on a regular basis, but also it is amazing how many muscles you do use if you go run and don't normally do so on a regular basis..make sense?? Anyway, soreness is good and I am going to "bring it" while I can.
This past weekend was Easter weekend and I went home to OKC to spend some quality family time as well as got to see some of my best friends from college. It was relaxing and so fun. One of the great memories I made was going to the mall on Saturday afternoon with my mom and niece, Lynzi, who I have to add is only 11....going on 25 :-) She is so adorable and such a girlie girl. She could not wait to go to Victoria's Secret and even though she is incredibly small for her age, she is somehow able to wear some of their things! She loves the "Pink" collection which is actually a great line for a girl who adores all things hot pink and hip. Anyway, the weekend came to a close and I headed back to Austin. The next couple weeks are going to be pretty busy...one of my coworkers got a promotion making a spot open now in Austin. Kori, my partner in Austin, who I have to add is 8 months preggo, is left now with me to pretty much cover the area until we get someone new hired...I pray for her baby to stay cookin' as long as possible...of course for his health, but also for my sanity ;-) Dustin and I have some travels coming up as well which we are super excited about...so there will be many fun filled blogs coming in the not so distant future. As for now, I am looking forward to our "Field Day" we have planned for this coming Saturday. A whole group of us are all going to a park here in Austin and playing those old school games from back in the day (remember field days as a kid?). Food, Fun, Friendship....you know it!
