Happy Holidays!

The past month and a half has been so much fun! I love this time of year...it makes me in such a good mood! It does make me miss my grandparents though...which as I write this it has been a year since their passing :-(
As for November, after my weekend back home came Thanksgiving which we spent in Naples, Florida, at my family's condo on the beach. We had a blast...my family puts the "fun" in dysFUNctional ;-) We got some beach time in, plenty of eating and some boating too. Unfortunately it was a bit chilly on the day we went boating so we had to borrow some sweatshirts to wear that day...so the pics are kind of funny cuz the one Dustin wore was a bit small! Before we arrived to Naples, Dustin and I flew into Miami and took a detour down
to Key West for a night...it was fun to get to check off another place on our "list of places we want to visit"! We went to the southernmost point of the continental US and on our way back north we went stopped at Robbie's and fed some tarpon fish which was interesting I must say! We decided to take the old highway 41 over to Naples and it was filled with Alligators!!! It was crazy cause you could literally see them driving down the road even going 60 MPH.

Our last day...taking the boat to the Isle of Capri

Now it is December and during this month I had a fun girls night at my casa...totally old school style too! Dustin left town with his mom and brother so I decided to have some friends over for a fun night. Denise, Andrea and Ursula all came over and we went out for sushi, played games and drank some good vino. We stayed up til 3 AM even :-) Don't do that often that's for sure.

Besides that I went to Columbus for a work trip right before vacation started and typical for this time of year I experienced flight delays and the airline misplaced my luggage...awesome huh! So now I am at my in-laws house enjoying the holiday break from work and looking forward to seeing my side of the family on Christmas! Should be a fun Christmas since my Aunt and Uncle will be joining us this year from Indiana.

I wish everyone a VERY Merry Christmas and we'll see you in 2010!
