Holiday Goodness!

So this past week was a week full of Holiday parties and good times... Beginning on Wednesday night I went to my Bunko group's Holiday Game Night/Gift Exchange. It was so awesome because we finally had all 12 girls there...no subs. We played the normal game and then did the gift exchange (white elephant style).

On Friday night the fun continued because Dustin and I went over to Nick and Jessica's for a happy hour they were having at their casa...which ended up turning into more like a Holiday party! Their neighbors were all there plus us and there was fanstastic food...lots of sweets! Thank goodness I am doing a good job working out during this fattening season! We left after a little bit and headed down to Lake Austin Blvd to the American Legion Hall where the Austin Chronicle Party was going on. Lucky us we got invited by our friend, Chris Peters because his Rolling Stones cover band "Sticks 'n' Stones" was playing the party. It was so awesome...not only because of the free drinks, but Dustin and I danced and danced til the band finished!

I am positive we had a little too much fun because Saturday we were completely worthless...I literally was still in my pajamas at 4:30 PM when I realized I needed to get up and get ready for Dustin's work Holiday party. It was at his boss, Yousef's house, and it was also a white elephant type party. I was super excited about the gift we went home with as I have actually been using it. It is a Shiatsu Massage pillow. I laughed so hard because- yes it is a fairly decent massage pillow, but I think the marketing people for the company went a little far when they decided to put on the box "Makes you feel human again." I mean honestly....really?
