I will miss you Grandpa
This is a very difficult blog to write, but my sweet grandpa passed away yesterday. Thankfully he was not in pain and really just died of old age. He was 97 years young and he and my grammy (who is amazingly 100) just celebrated their 73rd wedding anniversary. Both of my grandparents are so very special to me and I have always been very close to them. Growing up my mom and I took lots of trips (since I was the baby in the family) to stay with my grandparents in Chicago, their condo in Florida as well as their cabin up in the upper peninsula of Michigan. I will treasure all the memories I have with him and will always remember his funny sense of humor. He could brighten anyone's day with his jokes. I miss you already Grandpa!

Aww Emily Sue I am so sorry for your loss. Sounds like he led a very long wonderful life though. I am sure you and your family will miss him terribly. I will be thinking of you and praying for you during this difficult time.

I am so sorry for the loss of your grandpa. You know I lost my grandma in September at 100 years and 3 months! Your grandparents have set such a wonderful example of what a marriage is and have passed that on to you, darling!
