SXSW

This week has been a busy one for Austin, Texas. Not only is it "spring break" for the kiddos, but it is also The Austin Rodeo and SXSW. We also got to celebrate St. Patrick's Day (which is my dad's birthday too!). On Tuesday- St. Patty's day we went over (okay walked over) to Fion Wine Pub in Steiner and enjoyed an evening of live music and green beer. Really I drank red wine, but whatever ;-) Dustin's brother Nick and his neighbor Dave (who is a fellow Sooner- woohoo!!) joined us as well.

Dustin and I don't normally do much for SXSW, but this year we decided to take advantage of the Free concert series at Auditorium Shores (which if you don't know is this large park area that is right on Lake Austin downtown). We headed down Friday night and met up with some friends and Nick & Jessica were there too. It was fun getting to hang out with them since their kids were off enjoying spring break with the grandparents. We enjoyed some music and then went to have some dinner at Moonshine. Love that place!
