So Dustin and I do not have human children..but our dogs they are close enough. Vegas and Chance are our 2 pups. Poor Vegas this week all of a sudden just was not acting like himself at all! I mean he is always social and a snuggle bug but on Wednesday night after work he was walking around slowly with his tail between his legs like he had gone potty somewhere in the house. Once that was ruled out we thought that he must be sick. He was shaking and also going and hiding under the dining room table...a place where he NEVER goes. So on Thursday when he was not any better and he started weirdly dragging his leg behind himself I made an appointment for the vet and Dustin met me up there at 3 PM. Thankfully after $200 in tests later, Dr. Peck told us that it was probably a back sprain. They gave him a pain shot and now he is on some pain meds. I have to say when I got home today from work he was basically back to his normal self. He even ate his food that had been out for him without me having to feed him the can stuff. So, hopefully he is getting better and healing. I cannot imagine the worry a mother has for a child because I lose it when I think something is wrong with my doggies!!! So now Vegas is better and his bro, Chance, is as crazy as ever!
